At the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Center, we offer a variety of non-invasive skin care procedures to help get rid of fine lines, surface wrinkles and visible imperfections. Non-invasive means non-surgical so you can come into the office, have the treatment and leave with minimal discomfort and downtime.
Botox® - works by relaxing targeted muscles to give the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance, reducing and often eliminating surface wrinkles. Its effects typically last up to six months and the skin care procedure may be repeated to maintain results. As a quick and effective treatment, with excellent results and virtually no downtime, it's perfect for patients who have minimal signs of facial aging such as forehead furrows and crow's feet.
Chemical Peels - are facial treatments that aim to remove, soften and minimize the appearance of wrinkles, blotches, acne and other skin imperfections. The skin care procedure works to even the skin's texture by chemically removing the outer layers and encouraging the formation of new skin cells. Chemical peels are available in light, medium and deep, depending on the degree of skin damage.
Microdermabrasion - is non-chemical and can help treat the superficial effects of aging and sun exposure with minimal discomfort or side effects. Treatment is quick and most skin care patients can return immediately to their daily schedules. Five to ten treatments may be required to achieve the best results, depending on skin type and condition. Over time, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles and other surface imperfections will be less obvious, minimized or erased.
Juvederm™ and Restylane® - are natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds. Both of these fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the skin. It is non-animal derived, eliminating any risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reactions. Both of these fillers are injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts by an ultrafine needle, resulting in minimal discomfort. The procedure is simple and convenient, and results are practically instantaneous.
Radiesse™ - is a non-surgical cosmetic dermal filler for the long-lasting correction of
moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. Radiesse is the first filler with advanced calcium-based microsphere technology that not only can provide volume replacement to wrinkles, folds and sunken depressions but also can help the body to produce new collagen. At the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Center, we often use Radiesse to plump out the area between the nose and corners of the mouth. We also use it to smooth out smile and frown lines, fill in acne scars and smooth and plump up sunken areas around the eyes.
Sclerotherapy – treats the small purple and red blood vessels (spider veins) most commonly found on the thighs, lower legs and ankles of men and women. Spider veins or cherry spots may also appear on the trunk and face. During the sclero procedure, a solution is injected into the vein through a micro-needle, which generally causes very little pain. The solution causes the vein to turn white and then gradually disappear from the skin surface. A typical treatment may take up to an hour and consist of multiple injections.
Thermage™ - The Thermage procedure is a non-invasive treatment that can deliver tighter skin, renewed contours and healthier collagen the building block that provides structure to your skin. The procedure is performed with an advanced radio frequency device called ThermaCool™. It requires no incisions and minimal recovery time. The top layers of the skin are protected with a cooling spray while radio frequency energy heats the collagen in the lower layers. Over time, new collagen grows to further tighten the skin and produce a more youthful appearance.
