LATISSE® solution is the only prescription treatment approved by the FDA for hypotrichosis. LATISSE® is a prescription treatment used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker.
LATISSE®, also known as bimatoprost ophthalmic solution, is the same medication as a glaucoma drop called Lumigan which has been used for years. The only difference between the two is that Lumigan is placed in your eye, whereas Latisse is placed on your eyelids at the base of your eyelashes.
