Frequently Asked Questions About Plastic Surgery

Serving Denver, Aurora, Cherry Creek, and the Northern Colorado Area

How soon can I go back to work?

That depends on which particular plastic surgery procedure you have, and on what type of work you do. If your work is sedentary, and your surgery was not major or complex, you could return to work in 5-7 days. If your work is more vigorous, a longer rest period would be wise. If your plastic surgery is major, such as a abdominoplasty, you’d probably be best taking 2-3 weeks off work, to give your body the best chance of full recovery. Dr. Serota will discuss this with you during the planning stage.
