Will I be in pain afterwards?
Most surgical procedures cause some degree of pain or discomfort afterwards, but Dr. Serota would give you a pain prescription ahead of time, so that when the anesthetic wears off you’ll have your pain medication at hand. The period of time during which you might need to take pain pills will vary depending on how extensive your plastic surgery was. Dr. Serota will discuss this ahead of time with you, and give you an instruction sheet for how to best expedite your recovery.
