Joseph F. Serota, M.D., FACS is board certified in Plastic Surgery. He has been practicing cosmetic surgery in the Denver, Colorado area since 1984. Dr. Serota performs cosmetic surgery of the face and body including breast enlargement surgery, liposuction and facelifts, as well as many other cosmetic surgery procedures.
He is an active member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
Dr. Serota is also actively involved in the hospital medical staff and has served three terms as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the Medical Center of Aurora. Originally from Philadelphia, he received his undergraduate degree at Pennsylvania State University. He went on to receive his medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio.
He completed his general surgery residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Chicago and completed his Plastic Surgery residency and Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of New Mexico He has been an instructor in Surgery at Rush Medical College and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
He has two sons and enjoys an active lifestyle with involvement in the community, volunteer and religious organizations.
He routinely performs aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body, as well as a myriad of other aesthetic procedures.
